Mahika Made is a space rooted in self-expression, individuality, and intention—where creativity and care come together.
“Mahika” means magic in Tagalog, a connection to my Filipino roots and a reminder that the most meaningful things carry a little piece of the person behind them.
Whether I’m creating something by hand or caring for someone through wellness, the intention remains the same: to bring your own magic into what you create, how you care, and how you move through the world.

OUR STORY
Mahika Made started long before it had a name.
My introduction to creating came through my mom’s brand, Dezir’re Designs. While she worked on her projects, she taught me the fundamentals – from working with beads and wire to sewing and building pieces from scratch. I learned early on how to bring ideas to life with my hands.
What started as something to keep me occupied quickly became something I genuinely enjoyed. I began experimenting on my own, creating small pieces and developing my style over time. From elementary school through high school, I created pieces here and there and sold them to classmates and teachers. Although I wasn’t consistent, creating and selling my work was something I always came back to.
In 2014, I created CaliVamp, my first official brand, where I explored my style and learned what it meant to build something of my own.
In 2022, I rebranded to Mahika Made — a name that carries a piece of my Filipino roots and represents a more intentional approach to everything I create.
By 2024, I had started exploring how Mahika Made could grow beyond physical products and into wellness and service-based work. I began researching different paths and laying the foundation for what that expansion could eventually become.
In 2026, an opportunity brought me to BodyNSculpt. I joined the team and began apprenticing under Alyssa’s leadership, which aligned naturally with the direction I had already been working toward.
Today, Mahika Made has grown beyond its beginnings, creating space for jewelry, beauty, wellness, creativity, and what may come next.

THE FOUNDER
Hello, I’m Dezir’e — the creator behind Mahika Made.
I’m of Filipino and Thai heritage and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve always been drawn to creating and working with my hands. What started as simple curiosity grew into experimenting with different forms of art — from jewelry and beauty to painting, photography, digital design, and other creative projects.
In college, I studied cosmetology and earned my license. I focused on hair styling, braiding, and lash extensions, which sharpened my attention to detail. The cosmetology industry gave me an early foundation in business — presentation, professionalism, networking, client relationships, and understanding how an idea becomes an experience for someone else. Over time, I shifted my focus fully to growing Mahika Made, using my cosmetology experience more as an asset and creative tool than as a long-term career path.
My interest in wellness also continued to expand as I became curious about different practices within it. I remained open to opportunities to learn and broaden my perspective, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) training in 2025.
In May 2026, I joined the BodyNSculpt team and began apprenticing under Alyssa’s leadership. Having worked with her previously, I already admired the knowledge, creativity, and care she brings to her work. I didn’t know what to expect from the work itself, but I’ve come to genuinely enjoy it, especially seeing the transformations and how people feel after their sessions. The experience reinforced something I’ve come to recognize across everything I do. My work feels most meaningful when it has a positive impact on someone else.
That experience also gave me the opportunity to expand Mahika Made into wellness services, bringing another one of my interests into what I had already been building. Today, I’m continuing to learn and grow as part of the BodyNSculpt team while building Mahika Made alongside it.
